University provides student canteens and staff canteens for the benefit of the university students and staff. The service providers will be selected through National Competitive Bidding Procedure. According to the Tender conditions, an eligible organization/person will be awarded the contract for a period of One Year with a probationary period of 3 months.
16 Canteens are maintained in the university and 8 canteens provide food to students at concessionary rates. Canteen committees have been established consisting of responsible parties to monitor and maintain the standards of these university canteens.
The main purpose of the above service is, to provide fresh/quality food and other essential items for the students as well as the staff at concession any rates.
Maintaining Shops & Other Services
University provides facilities to operate shops and services for the benefit of the university students. The service providers will be selected through National Competitive Bidding Procedure.
